About Fred Noseworthy


Fred is an artist.  He paints in pastels.  Some of his work can be seen on this Web site.  Click on "Fred's Art" on the home page.  He paints on a commission basis.  Contact him for quotes. 

Fred is also a musician who plays country, rock and blues music.  He plays the guitar and the pedal steel guitar and sings.  He plays with The Generation Gap Band with his son, Justin and three others in Carmel, CA.  Contact Fred if your band needs a steel guitar, guitar or old-time country vocals.  (Samples of his music are found under the "Fred's Music" tab on the right side of the main page.  Use ear phones or external speakers to make to sound better.)

Fred's real estate career began in 1979 as a real estate broker representing buyers and sellers on the Monterey Peninsula. He has been an active member of the community having served as President of the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce in 1979 and President of the Del Monte Forest Property Owners (Pebble Beach) in 1980.  

 Fred has owned several businesses and has been an investor in other business interests since moving to Monterey County in 1974.  His career spans involvement in securities, financial planning and real estate sales and development.  Fred is a Vietnam veteran having earned the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge and Purple Heart.  He graduated from both the United States Army's Ranger School and Airborne School.

Fred is an alumnus of Middlebury College having earned a degree in economics.   

In addition to his son, Justin ( wife Maddie) he has a daughter, Alison (husband Chris), who lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
